What's on Tap for 2012

Now that the 2011 season has come and gone for the DWR team, the big question is...What's Next?? January 7th and 8th 2012 the brand new 1w Mastersbilt machine will be in presence at the MIDWEST SPEED EXPO Racers Trade Show and Swap Meet held in Springfield, Illinois at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in the Walden Signs and Designs booth. Then the following weekend will be the annual Donny Walden race Party Saturday Jan. 14th at the Tri-Lakes Club located at 2100 Bunn Street in Bloomington. For just $10.00 per person, you get an all you can eat meal, chance to win door prizes, listen to great music and karaoke, and chances to bid on valuable auction items. Children 12 and under get in FREE! Doors will open at 5:00pm and auction starts at 7:05. Also we will be having fan appreciation specials on all new DWR clothing presented by Arizona Sport Shirts. The proceeds from the event go to the race team to help fund the car and expenses for the 2012 season! Hope to see you there.

DWR puts a wrap on 2011 Season

Donny Walden and the DWR Team have closed the book for the 2011 racing season edition. After competing in almost 50 nights of racing, in over 9 different states, the Towanda, Illinois native decided to call it quits for the year. "We ventured out a lot this year racing and didn't get to compete in much local shows around home, but I learned so much this year out on the road racing different tracks, it has to make you better, as a racer and as a team in a whole". Said Walden on his efforts in the 2011 season. Whether or not the statistics box is a glamour with big numbers, Donny and the team made numerous sacrifices and dedicated many of hours away from family and friends to race the way they did this year, and if racing almost 50 nights in 1 season and competing in the Summer Nationals "Hell Tour" for the 3rd consecutive year isn't a success, then what is?

Donny and the DWR team would like to take this time to thank all those who helped make this 2011 season a great and memorable year.
