28 for the track's season finale. Donny Walden stopped the clock
sixth fastest overall during Super Late Model qualifying before
securing a victory in heat race action. After starting the 25-lap
main event from the inside of the second row, Donny placed fifth
at the checkers behind only $3,000 winner Jason Feger, Ryan Unzicker,

Walden Sixth in Illinois State Championship
at Peoria Speedway!
(September
22, 2024) For the second straight week, Donny
Walden and the #1W team was back in the pit area at Peoria Speedway
in Peoria, Illinois on Saturday, September 21. The 69th edition
of the 'Illinois State Championship' was on tap and a $5,000 winner's
check was up for grabs for the DIRTcar Super Late Models. Donny
went tenth quickest overall during the qualifying session prior
to placing third in his heat race. After rolling off from the
inside of the fourth row in the 50-lap headliner, Donny was able
to move up to the sixth spot to trail only victor Dennis Erb,
Jr., Jason Feger, Bob Gardner, Ryan Unzicker, and Frank Heckenast,

Visit to Peoria Speedway

15, 2024) Walden Racing trekked to Peoria Speedway
in Peoria, Illinois on Saturday evening, September 14, as the
Super Late Models vied for a $1,000 winner's check. Donny Walden
posted the fifth quickest lap in qualifying prior to running second
in his heat race behind only Jason Feger. After starting the weekly
A-Main from the inside of the third row, Donny wound up finishing
sixth at the unfurling of the checkered flag behind only victor
Feger, Kye Blight, Colby Sheppard, Bob Gardner, and Jeffrey Ledford.

Walden Sees Rain at Farmer City;
Battles MARS Foes at FALS
(September
1, 2024) After a rain-out on Friday evening at
Farmer City (IL) Raceway, the MARS Racing Series sanctioned the
'Triple Down Shootout' on Saturday, August 31 at Fairbury Speedway
in Fairbury, Illinois. A 29 car field piled into the pit area
to vie for the $5,000 first place prize money. Donny Walden clicked
off the eighteenth fastest lap overall during the time trial session
prior to placing fourth in his heat race. After starting the 40-lap
feature from the outside of the sixth row, Donny wound up finishing
right where he started... in the twelfth position. Full results

Walden Racing Secures Track Championship
at Farmer City!!!
(August
25, 2024) The Walden Racing team secured the 2024
Super Late Model Track Championship at Farmer City Raceway in
Farmer City, Illinois on Friday night, August 23! In the $1,500
to win weekly program, Donny Walden earned Fast Time honors during
the qualifying session prior to picking up a heat race triumph.
While running third in the 25-lap main event, Donny unfortunately
suffered a flat right rear tire that relegated him to a disappointing
fifteenth place showing.
On Saturday evening, August 24, the points season also wrapped
up at Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois. In the $2,500 to
win 'Bob & Pappy Allen Memorial,' Donny once again posted
the quickest lap overall during qualifying and later ran second
in his heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the second
row in the 30-lapper, the Bloomington, Illinois hotshoe eventually
landed on the podium in third behind only victor Mike Spatola
and runner-up McKay Wenger. Donny wound up finishing second in

18, 2024) Following a rain-out on Friday night
at Farmer City (IL) Raceway, Walden Racing invaded Fairbury Speedway
in Fairbury, Illinois on Saturday evening, August 17. A weekly
'FALS Cup' showdown was on tap at the 1/4-mile oval and a $2,500
payday was up for grabs. Donny Walden earned Fast Time honors
during the qualifying session prior to placing fourth in his heat
race. After starting the 30-lap main event from the inside of
the fourth row, Donny unfortunately ran into trouble during the
contest and was officially paid for a fourteenth place performance.

Punctured Radiator Slows Walden
at Farmer City Raceway...
(August
10, 2024) The #1W team traveled back to Farmer
City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois on Friday night, August
9. A weekly Super Late Model show was held last night at the 1/4-mile
bullring and a $1,500 winner's check was on the line. Donny Walden
knocked down the third quickest lap overall during the qualifying
session, but unfortunately jumped the cushion and punctured the
radiator while doing so. The team was not able to make repairs
before the heat race, but was able to put in the spare radiator
before the drop of the green flag in the 25-lap feature. Unfortunately,
the spare radiator started to leak, so Donny made one lap in the
A-Main and settled for a disappointing fourteenth place showing.

4, 2024) Donny Walden and the Walden Racing team
made the trip to both Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois
and Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois over the August 2-3
weekend. On Friday night with a $1,500 top prize up for grabs
at Farmer City, Donny ran second in his heat race and fourth in
the 25-lap main event behind only winner McKay Wenger, Daniel
Adam, and Rich Bell. At FALS on Saturday evening in a $2,500 to
win 'FALS Cup' shootout, Donny placed second in his heat race
and fifth in the 30-lapper behind only victor Jay Sparks, McKay

Walden Battles National Stars in
Lucrative Prairie Dirt Classic
(July
28, 2024) It was a busy week for the #1W team
at Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois from July 24-27. It
all started with a visit by the Castrol FloRacing Night in America
Series on Wednesday evening, as a whopping $20,000 first place
prize was on the line. Donny Walden ran seventh in his heat race
and sixth in his B-Main. Unfortunately, Donny was not able to
transfer into the 50-lap headliner that was ultimately won by
Ricky Thornton, Jr.
The World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series then
roared into #FALS over the weekend to preside over the annual
running of the 'Prairie Dirt Classic.' On Friday night, Donny
timed in twenty-seventh fastest in Group A during the qualifying
session prior to placing seventeenth in his $5,000 to win Prairie
Dirt Showdown semi-feature. With a $50,000 winner's check up for
grabs in Saturday's grand finale, Donny chose to scratch from
the remainder of the program and did not compete in his consolation

20, 2024) The Walden Racing team invaded Farmer
City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois on Friday night, July 19,
as the MARS Racing Series presided over a $5,000 to win shootout.
Donny Walden stopped the clock third quickest in Group B during
the qualifying session prior to running second in his heat race.
After rolling off from the outside of the third row in the 40-lap
feature event, Donny put forth a solid effort and was able to
stay inside of the top ten - ultimately earning a ninth place

Over the July 12-13 weekend, Walden Racing invaded both Farmer
City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois and Fairbury Speedway in
downtown Fairbury, Illinois. On Friday night in a weekly program
at Farmer City that boasted a $1,500 winner's check, Donny Walden
suffered rear-end issues early in the night and was later credited
with a thirteenth place showing in the 25-lap feature. At FALS
on Saturday evening with a $5,012 top prize up for grabs in the
annual 'Richard Craven Memorial,' Donny timed in second quickest
overall during qualifying, won his heat race, and later placed

(July 7, 2024) The
Walden Racing team headed back to both Farmer City Raceway in
Farmer City, Illinois and Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois
over the July 5-6 holiday weekend. On Friday night in a $1,500
to win throwdown at Farmer City, Donny Walden earned Fast Time
honors during the qualifying session prior to securing a heat
race victory. Donny then battled for the lead in the early stages
of the 25-lap feature before winding up a strong runner-up behind
only victor Mckay Wenger!
At Fairbury on Saturday evening, a $2,500 top prize was up for
grabs in a 'FALS Cup' program. Donny laid down the third fastest
lap overall during time trials before once again winning his heat
race in preliminary action. Unfortunately, a broken fuel pump
ended his run early in the 30-lapper and relegated the Bloomington,

Summer Nationals Foes
(June
30, 2024) Donny Walden and his #1W team rolled
into Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois on Friday night,
June 28, as the DIRTcar Summer Nationals were in town to preside
over a $10,000 to win throwdown. Donny earned Fast Time honors
during the qualifying session before securing an impressive win
in heat race action. After drawing the third starting spot for
the 40-lap main event, Donny unfortunately received a puncture
in his radiator early in the race and was forced to retire in
the eighteenth finishing position due to overheating woes.
On Saturday evening, June 29, a $2,500 top prize was up for grabs
in another 'FALS Cup' battle at Fairbury Speedway in downtown
Fairbury, Illinois. Donny laid down the third quickest lap overall
during time trials and later finished second in his heat race.
The Bloomington, Illinois native then started third on the grid
in the A-Main, but ultimately slipped back to finish in the tenth

Walden Salvages Weekend with Sixth
Place FALS Showing...
(June
23, 2024) The Walden Racing team traveled back
to Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois and Fairbury Speedway
in Fairbury, Illinois over the June 21-22 weekend for a pair of
weekly programs. On Friday night at Farmer City, Donny Walden
earned Fast Time honors during the Super Late Model qualifying
session, but unfortunately went up in smoke in his heat race.
The Bloomington, Illinois ace was thankfully able to jump behind
the wheel of Curtis Hobbs' #53W machine to salvage a thirteenth
place showing in the $1,500 to win main event.
After changing motors and oil systems overnight, the #1W team
was at FALS on Saturday evening to vie for the $2,500 first place
money. Donny laid down the fifth quickest lap overall during time
trials prior to placing second in his heat race. He then battled
hard for a top five showing in the contest before slipping to
sixth in the final rundown of the 'FALS Cup' headliner. Full results
