Donny Walden Starts 2024 Campaign
in Illini 100 Weekend
(April
14, 2024) Donny Walden officially lifted the lid
to his 2024 campaign in the annual running of the 'Illini 100'
on April 12-13 at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois.
The World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series sanctioned
the doubleheader weekend, which started on Friday with a $10,000
to win opener that drew 45 competitors. Donny unfortunately missed
out on the 40-lap feature after running eleventh in his heat race
and tenth in his B-Main.
A whopping $20,000 first place prize was then on the line on
Saturday evening at the 1/4-mile fairgrounds facility. Donny placed
eighth in his stacked heat race and twelfth in his B-Main, which
also kept him out of the 60-lap headliner that was ultimately

Terminal Mechanical Trouble Strikes
Walden in Heat Race

22, 2023) Donny Walden and his Walden Racing team
made the trip to Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois
on Friday night, July 21 for the 13th edition of the 'Junior Kimler
Memorial.' The DIRTcar Super Late Model contest shelled out a
$3,000 winner's check. Donny stopped the clock fourth quickest
overall during time trials and was running second in his heat
race until suffering terminal mechanical trouble. Due to the problems,
Donny was forced to scratch from the 30-lap main event that was
ultimately won by Frank Heckenast, Jr. Complete results from last

Walden Racing Nabs Top Ten in FALS
Cup at Fairbury

16, 2023) The lone event of the weekend for the
#1w team came on Saturday, July 15 at Fairbury Speedway in downtown
Fairbury, Illinois. A weekly FALS Cup program was held for the
Super Late Models and a $2,500 payday was on the line. Donny Walden
laid down the second quickest lap overall during the qualifying
session prior to running second in heat race action. After rolling
off from the outside of the second row in the 30-lap feature,
Donny eventually drove to a solid seventh place performance in

Donny Walden Climbs to Thirteenth
in Bob Harty Memorial
(July 9, 2023) After
unfortunately crashing out of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals show
at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois on Friday night
during qualifying, Donny Walden and his Walden Racing team fared
much better on Saturday evening, July 8 at Fairbury Speedway in
Fairbury, Illinois. In the 'Bob Harty Memorial,' which shelled
out a $5,000 top prize, Donny laid down the seventh quickest time
overall during the Super Late Model qualifying session before
a broken air cleaner stud dropped him to a ninth place heat race
effort. The Bloomington, Illinois hotshoe then battled back to
finish second in the B-Main prior to advancing up to thirteenth
in the final rundown of the 38-lap headliner. Complete results

Walden Runner-Up at Farmer City;
Rebounds to Tenth at FALS

25, 2023) Donny Walden and his #1w team ventured
to Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois and Fairbury Speedway
in Fairbury, Illinois once again over the June 23-24 weekend.
In a $1,000 to win weekly show on Friday night at Farmer City,
Donny earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying session, won
his heat race, and later placed an impressive runner-up in the
25-lapper behind only victor Steve Sheppard.
With a $3,500 top prize up for grabs at FALS on Saturday evening,
Donny timed in second quickest overall during qualifying and wound
up fifth in the heat after he was turned around by another competitor.
A similar fate was in store for the Bloomington, Illinois hotshoe
in the 30-lap feature, as he was spun again before rebounding

Donny Walden Eighth in Summer Nationals
Visit to FALS!

18, 2023) On June 16-17, the Walden Racing team
returned to both Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois
and Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois. On Friday night in
a weekly DIRTcar Super Late Model show at Farmer City, Donny Walden
fought fuel issues throughout the evening while timing in fifth
fastest overall during qualifying and finishing fourth in his
heat race and eighth in the $1,000 to win main event.
At FALS on Saturday, a $10,000 top prize was up for grabs in
a DIRTcar Summer Nationals battle. With 55 cars on hand, Donny
stopped the clock fifth fastest in Group B during time trials
prior to grabbing the third and final transfer spot through his
heat race. In the 50-lap headliner, the Bloomington, Illinois
ace steered past eight strong competitors to land in the eighth
finishing position!
"Our car tonight (at FALS) was very good and I was able
to run the bottom and rotate well in the center to stay down and
keep my left side tires in the traction. The longer the race went
- the better our car was," quoted Walden. Complete results

11, 2023) Donny Walden and Walden Racing traveled
to both Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois and Fairbury
Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois over the June 9-10 weekend for
a pair of weekly Super Late Model battles. On Friday night at
Farmer City, Donny timed in fourth quickest overall during qualifying
and won his heat race in preliminary action prior to slipping
back to fifth in the A-Main behind only $1,000 winner Mike Spatola,
Kevin Weaver, McKay Wenger, and Spencer Diercks. At FALS on Saturday
evening, Donny knocked down the third fastest lap during time
trials and placed fourth in his heat race before blasting all
the way up to second in the 'FALS Cup' headliner to trail only

in downtown Fairbury, Illinois on Saturday evening, June 3 for
a weekly $2,500 to win 'FALS Cup' showdown. Donny Walden clicked
off the fifth fastest lap overall during Super Late Model qualifying
prior to running third in his heat race. After rolling off from
the inside of the third row in the 30-lap main event, Donny eventually
wound up right where he started... in the fifth position behind
only race winner Mike Spatola, McKay Wenger, Kevin Weaver, and

Walden Officially Starts '23 Campaign
Over Memorial Day Weekend

28, 2023) Donny Walden, of Bloomington, Illinois,
officially lifted the lid to his 2023 campaign on May 26-27 in
a pair of $5,000 to win MARS Late Model Championship Series programs
at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois and Fairbury Speedway
in Fairbury, Illinois. On Friday night at Farmer City, Donny timed
in seventh quickest in Group B during the qualifying session prior
to running fifth in his heat race and second in his B-Main. Unfortunately,
Donny was an early retiree in the 40-lap feature and was officially
scored in the eighteenth finishing position. At FALS on Saturday
evening in a similar $5,000 to win show, he was not able to advance
into the 40-lapper after placing eighth in his heat race and sixth
